With beautiful artistry and awe-inspiring acts, Daniel Nolasco and Ashley Smith give you Duo D&A.

Daniel and Ashley first started working together in 2013 with Iluminar Aerial in Broomfield, Colorado. Instantly making a connection, the pair went on to compete in The Aerial Acrobatic Art’s Festival and won the Best Artistic Award for their duo trapeze act. Since then the duo has worked all around the states and internationally on board TUI Cruises, Mein Schiff. As well as duo trapeze, the pair has duo acts on lyra, and straps and solo acts on dance trapeze, lyra, sling, corde lisse, and silks.


Daniel Nolasco Bio

A Texian born, Coloradian at heart, Daniel started his education has a circus artist in 2010. He graduated from The New England Center for Circus Arts in Vermont spring of 2013. He later went on to work with Iluminar Aerial and Aerial Dreamworks with frequent collaborations with Frequent Flyer Productions and MOTH Poetic Circus back home in Colorado. In 2014 Daniel received the Best Artistic Award from the Aerial Acrobatic Arts Festival in Denver, Colorado. Since then alongside duo partner, Ashley Smith, has traveled overseas working with TUI Cruises where he excites people with his acrobatic numbers in a variety of shows. You can catch him doing solo and duo work in straps, sling, lyra, trapeze, and more!

Ashley Smith Bio

Ashley Smith was born in Florida and formally started her education in arts in 2007 studying dance. She received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Colorado and then completed the Professional Training Program for Aerial Arts at Frequent Flyers Productions. Ashley has performed all around the states with MOTH Poetic Circus, Iluminar Aerial, Aerial Dreamworks, and Frequent Flyers Inc. Internationally she has performed since 2017 with TUI Cruises, performing on board their fleet, Mein Schiff. Alongside her duo partner Daniel Nolasco, she is the winner of Best Artistic Award at the Aerial Acrobatic Arts Festival. In addition to her life as a circus artist, she loves dancing, climbing, teaching, and exploring new places.
